If anyone has any information about this please post it on here! Have you tried reseating memory module? The laptop should boot with memory stick installed in any slot. Can you find a spare AC adapter to test the laptop? Make sure that the connector has no bent pins and the cable plugged in all the way down. Try cleaning the heat sink. Compatible models coming soon.

Any additional help please. The PC will have to be truly off not suspended, or in standby mode, or in hibernation mode. I also removed all screws on the bottom of the laptop, the two P8 screws on the rear near the hinges, the two screws underneath the DVD player, and the two screws underneath the battery.

Check if the motherboard is seated properly inside the laptop base. Or does this concern the jack itself? I would not recommed putting in a new motherboard. Can you boot in Safe Mode?

If you found corrosion on the motherboard, probably the motherboard died. This is my third Toshiba, and I have had more problems with this one machine than I had with either of my others. I have an 80 gig hard drive and one 20 gig which used to be 80 gig.
